Jonathan Huberdeau (#11) is the third ranked 2011 North American skater by Central Scouting. He's a left-handed shooting centreman who sometimes plays the wing. He has a phenomenal stick with the ability to make plays in traffic. That said, he had trouble winning offensive-zone puck-battles in traffic, along the wall.
-Game grade: 68
Nathan Beaulieu (#28) is the CSB's 5th ranked North American skater for the upcoming draft. The left-handed defenseman makes a solid first pass, is an above-average skater, but needs to work on his cross-overs when tracking on-rushing forwards.
-Game grade: 72
Zack Phillips (#7) is a right-handed centreman with great hands. The 15th ranked North American skater has solid instincts in both zones, but lost too many offensive-zone puck-battles, while completing too few offensive-zone pass attempts. That said, like Huberdeau, he produced offense when required.
-Game grade: 65
Tomas Jurco (#13) was inconsistent. The 20th ranked North American skater for the upcoming draft would lose two puck-battles, then make a solid read and intercept a pass. Other times, the left-handed shooting right-winger would bail out on a shot block, only to come back with a big block creating an offensive chance.
-Game grade: 50
Scott Oke (#15) and Ryan Tesink (#19) were used sparingly. The two forwards, ranked 44th and 47th respectively did not see much quality ice-time. When they were on the ice, they lost an inordinate amount of puck-battles, resulting in a negative rating in overall risk/reward.
-Game grades: 44 and 25 respectively
Gabriel Bourret (#5) is a right-handed defenseman who had difficulty with the level of play during the final. He had a negative risk/reward rating in the defensive-zone. The 92nd ranked North American skater has the tools to compete, but couldn't seem to find a comfort level in the particular game scouted.
-Game grade: 61
Overall Risk/Reward
Beaulieu had the top overall risk/reward rating among his draft-eligible teammates. Beaulieu's ability to make a solid first pass and make solid dump-ins through the neutral-zone carried his grade. Huberdeau managed the most events per minute played. He was also second in overall risk/reward rating, thanks mainly to his offensive output.

Defensive-zone Risk/Reward
Beaulieu posted far-and-away the best defensive-zone risk/reward rating. Beaulieu completed 80% of his defensive-zone pass-attempts to carry his grade. Huberdeau recorded the second-best d-zone rating, as he won 5 of 7 defensive-zone puck-battles, while completing 5 of 8 d-zone pass-attempts.
