2012 DRAFT: One-game Scouting Report for Zemgus Girgensons (WJHC)

This one-game scouting report is from Latvia's 9-4 World Junior Championship loss to Sweden on December 26th, 2011.

Zemgus Girgensons is Central Scouting's 18th ranked North American skater. He's a 6'2", 198 lbs centre, who played wing during much of this game. He has good size, and a strong skating stride. He was also physical during the game.  Girgenson played 49 games for the USHL's Dubuque Fighting Saints. He scored 24 goals and added 31 assists, to go along with 69 minutes in penalties. He is committed to Hockey East's Vermont Catamounts next season.

OVERALL GRADE
