The charts below represent Weber's statistics during the 2011-12 season. The first chart reflects his play in the offensive-zone, while the second chart represents his play in the defensive-zone.

The first column within each chart lists each category. The second column indicates his rating/ratio/success-rate/event per-minute within that category. The Montreal Canadiens ended the season with a .378 winning-percentage. Yannick Weber played in 60 of the 82 games. In games Weber played, the Habs winning-percentage was .350.

OFFENSIVE-ZONE POSSESSION SUCCESS-RATE BY GAME

A player's offensive-zone puck-possession success-rate is calculated by dividing the number of successful passes, dekes, and shots that hit the net by the total number of attempted shots, dekes and passes.

Weber had an offensive-zone possession success-rate of  at least 70% in 7 games. In those games the Canadiens had a 4-3 record, and a winning-percentage of .571. When Weber's o-zone possession rating fell below 60% Montreal's winning-percentage was .353.

NEUTRAL-ZONE POSSESSION SUCCESS-RATE BY GAME

A player's neutral-zone puck-possession success-rate is calculated by dividing the number of successful passes, dekes, and dump-ins by the total number of attempted passes, dekes and dump-ins.

Weber had a neutral-zone possession success-rate of 100% in 21 games. In those games the Canadiens had an 11-10 record, and a winning-percentage of .524. When Weber's n-zone possession success-rate dropped below 80%, the team's winning-percentage was .269.

DEFENSIVE-ZONE POSSESSION SUCCESS-RATE BY GAME

A player's defensive-zone puck-possession success-rate is calculated by dividing the number of successful passes, dekes, and dump-outs by the total number of attempted shots, dekes and dump-outs.

Weber had a defensive-zone possession success-rate above 70% in 26 games. In those games the Canadiens had an 11-15 record, and a winning-percentage of  .423. In games where Weber's d-zone possession rating dropped below 70%, the Habs winning-percentage was .333.

OFFENSIVE-ZONE DEFENSIVE SUCCESS-RATE BY GAME

A player's offensive-zone defensive success-rate is calculated by dividing the number of successful puck-battles, loose-puck recoveries, and intercepted opposition passes by the total number of puck-battles, loose-puck recovery attempts, and opportunities to intercept opposition passes. For defensemen, it is predominately a reflection of how successful a d-man is at pinching, or holding the puck in at the blueline.

Weber had an offensive-zone defensive success-rate above 80% in 28 games. In those games the Canadiens had a 11-17 record, and a winning-percentage of .393. In games where Weber's o-zone defensive rating dropped below 80%, the Habs winning-percentage was .360.

NEUTRAL-ZONE DEFENSIVE SUCCESS-RATE BY GAME

A player's neutral-zone defensive success-rate is calculated by dividing the number of successful puck-battles, loose-puck recoveries, and intercepted opposition passes by the total number of puck-battles, loose-puck recovery attempts, and opportunities to intercept opposition passes. The fact that the play is usually coming toward a defenseman in the neutral-zone, typically allows d-men to produce much higher n-zone defensive-ratings than forwards

Weber had a neutral-zone defensive success-rate of 100% in 30 games. In those games the Canadiens had a 9-21 record, and a winning-percentage of .300. When Weber's success-rate fell below 60%, the Habs winning record was .444.

DEFENSIVE-ZONE DEFENSIVE SUCCESS-RATE BY GAME

A player's defensive-zone defensive success-rate is calculated by dividing the number of successful puck-battles, loose-puck recoveries, intercepted opposition passes, and blocked shots by the total number of puck-battles, loose-puck recovery attempts, opportunities to intercept opposition passes, and opportunities to block shots.

Weber had a defensive-zone defensive success-rate above 70% in 21 games. In those games the Canadiens had a 10-11 record, and a winning-percentage of .476. In games Weber's d-zone defensive rating dropped below 70%, the Habs winning-percentage was .324.

Weber's offensive and neutral-zone possession success-rates proved to have the biggest impact on the Canadiens record. A dip in success-rate of 10% in o-zone possession success dropped the Canadiens winning-percentage from .571 to just .333. A drop in neutral-zone possession success-rate of 20% dropped Montreal's winning-percentage from .524 to .269.

EVEN-STRENGTH ICE-TIME

In games where Weber played over 15 minutes at even-strength, the Canadiens had a 6-6 record (.500). When he played under 10 minutes at ES, the Habs were 4-9 (.444). Montreal was 12-16 (.429) when Weber played between 10 and 15 minutes at even-strength.

SHORT-HANDED ICE-TIME

The Habs were 8-10 (.444) when Weber played at least 1 minute short-handed.

POWERPLAY ICE-TIME

Montreal had a 12-21 (.364) record when Weber played at least 2 minutes on the powerplay.

Montreal was 3-6 (.333) when Gorges had at least 1 minute of powerplay ice-time.
